Gagandeep in team for Bangladesh

Punjab paceman Gagandeep Singh is the only new face in the 15-member Indian squad, announced in Kolkata on Wednesday, for the two-Test series against Bangladesh, starting in Dhaka later this month.

The team for the three-match one-day series against Bangladesh will be announced on Thursday, Board of Control for Cricket in India secretary S K Nair said.

Gagandeep replaces Ashish Nehra.

Team: Sourav Ganguly (captain), Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, Rahul Dravid, Mohammad Kaif, S S Paul, Gagandeep Singh, Dinesh Karthik, Murali Karthik, Anil Kumble, Harbhajan Singh, Irfan Pathan and Zaheer Khan.
