Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly on Tuesday said a decision on the tour of Pakistan will be taken after a meeting with the Board of Control for Cricket in India.

He expressed concerns about team's safety. Ganguly had made public his views on the issue at the post-match conference after the second VB triseries final in Sydney.

"Although the players were not hesitant to go on the historic tour of the neighbouring country, their concerns had to be addressed," he had said.

"We are not worried about the Pakistan tour, but we are worried about the security in Pakistan," Ganguly said. "We are concerned because we have families at home and it is not going to be easy. We have to go back and talk to our board and then get a clearer picture."

Meanwhile, Shaharyar Khan, chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, said President Pervez Musharraf had promised the most stringent security measures to the Indian team.

A three-member delegation of the BCCI to assess the security arrangements was already in Pakistan.
