12027 - Tendulkar's run-aggregate in Test cricket. He became first batsman in Test history to go past 12,000 runs. He had earlier broken Brian Lara's [Images] world record of highest run-aggregate in Test cricket.

10041 - Tendulkar's run-aggregate at number 4 in Test matches -- highest by any batsman at any particular position. India's Sunil Gavaskar [Images] is distant second with 8511 runs at number one position.

4132 - Runs added by Tendulkar in partnership with Sourav Ganguly [Images]. They became the sixth pair to aggregate 4,000 runs between them after Greenidge-Haynes (6482), Hayden-Langer (6081), Dravid- Tendulkar (5283), Hayden-Ponting (4677) and Atapattu- Jayasuriya (4533).

88 -  The score on which Tendulkar is most likely to be dismissed after passing 50. Today's was the fourth such instance -- second at Mohali; the other one was v England [Images] in 2001-02.

50 - Number of fifties scored by Tendulkar in Test cricket (other than 100s). Only Border (63) and Dravid (53) have scored more fifties in Test cricket, while Steve Waugh has also 50 fifties on his name.

9 - Number of times Tendulkar became the first victim of a bowler in Test cricket. After getting out to Cameron White at Bangalore in the first Test, it was the turn of Peter Siddle to dismiss him at Mohali. Tendulkar now shares the Indian record of getting out to a new bowler on most occasions with Sourav Ganguly. The world record is of ten dismissals jointly held by England's Herbert Sutcliffe and Colin Cowdrey.

4 - Sourav Ganguly became the fourth Indian to aggregate 7,000 Test runs. He is the first left-hander in this exclusive club.
