Development my priority: Sheila Dikshit

December 04, 2003 11:34 IST

Saying she had faced the 'ugliest election campaign' ever, Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Thursday hoped her rivals would be 'subdued' since the results were now out.

The Congress is all set to retain power with a two-thirds majority.

Terming development to be her priority, Dikshit said intends to make Delhi one of the best cities in the world. "Complete progress, including human development, will be the area of focus," she said as supporters and well wishers began thronging her residence.

In a relaxed mood, the chief minister said her grand daughter; in Delhi on a visit, will now expect a substantial gift from her.
