CBI to probe Judeo bribery case

The Central Bureau of Investigation will probe the bribery case involving Union minister Dilip Singh Judeo, Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee said on Monday.

Asked whether he had seen the video footage purportedly showing Judeo taking money, the PM, who was at an iftar party hosted by Textile Minister Syed Shahnawaz Hussain, said: "Saaf nahi hai (It is not clear)."

Earlier in the day, the minister sent in his resignation to the PM after the latter discussed the issue with his ministerial colleagues and Bharatiya Janata Party colleagues.

I'm sure CBI probe is another political gimmick. Seems the apparatus is corroupt from top to bottom. There should more of these kind of operations ...
