"We have been intimated by the Congress yesterday that I'll take minister of state with independent charge of civil
aviation. However, we have not got any official communication on portfolios," NCP spokesman Praful Patel told reporters.

He said Pawar has willingly accepted the portfolios of food and agriculture. "The NCP is happy...we are willing to accept the portfolios."

He said party colleague, Suryakanta Patil, will also get a ministerial berth.
