Assets: EC notice to Sushilkumar Shinde

The Election Commission has issued a notice to Maharashtra Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde for furnishing incorrect information in his affidavit over declarations of property for the October 13 assembly polls, Chief Electoral Officer U P S Madan said in Mumbai on Monday.

The notice has been issued on a complaint by former Bharatiya Janata Party MP Kirit Somaiya accusing Shinde of undervaluing his Bandra flat, he told reporters.
