Game over for us: Sushma Swaraj

As trends indicated the Congress-NCP's return to power in Maharashtra, Bharatiya Janata Party leader Sushma Swaraj on Saturday virtually accepted defeat.

"The game is over for us," she said in New Delhi.

Swaraj said that the Congress-NCP would form the government as the combine campaigned on the issue of development, asking people to vote for the government headed by the same party at the Centre. "This has clicked."

The BJP leader said that the credit should also go to Sonia Gandhi as she was the Congress' president.
