JD-U rules out ditching NDA

March 01, 2005 20:21 IST

The Janata Dal-United on Tuesday said it would not part ways with the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance in Bihar.

Lok Janshakti Party chief, Ramvilas Paswan on Monday hinted that he might extend support to the JD-U and other small parties to form the government in Bihar if the JD-U parted ways with "communal" BJP.

"There is no possibility of the JD-U leaving the NDA," said parliamentary board chairman of the party Sharad Yadav.
