ITC Limited on Wednesday reported a 12.45 per cent jump in its second quarter net profit at Rs 427.87 crore (Rs 4,278.7 million), leading to a 13.90 per cent jump in first half profit at Rs 825.09 crore (Rs 8,250.9 million).

The company's net profit during the second quarter and first half of the last financial year stood at Rs 380.50 crore (Rs 3,805 million) and Rs 724.42 crore (Rs 7,244.2 million), respectively.

Gross income during the quarter increased by 3.46 per cent to Rs 2,925.67 crore (Rs 29.26 billion) from Rs 2,827.84 (Rs 28.28 billion).
