Anil sends e-mail to RIL staff

November 29, 2004 18:59 IST

Stating that he was saddened by the developments of the last two weeks, Reliance Industries vice chairman Anil Ambani on Monday sought the support of the entire group for himself and his elder brother Mukesh, but reserved comments on the ownership issues plaguing the Ambani family.

The Reliance 'ownership issue'

"I am personally saddened like all of you at the developments of last two weeks. As already communicated, I will not comment on any issue at this stage and may do so at an appropriate time, if necessary," Anil said in an e-mail to RIL employees.

"I am confident of your support to Mukesh and me and to the entire organisation and I look forward to receiving your valuable inputs and guidance," he said.
