Raveena does things zara hat ke. Unlike her peers, Raveena not only donates money to charity, but also regularly visits charitable institutions. Sunil to turn pro Sunil Shetty may take a shot at production. Since he has already proved his worth as a businessman, it shouldn't be difficult for him to make a success of production too. The only factor reportedly delaying Sunil's plunge into production is a detailed study of the market. He is carefully learning the dos and don'ts of the business because he does not want to fumble with his first film. Hearing this, a rival quipped, "All Sunil has to do is look at his career, and learn from his mistakes. Never make the kind of films he has acted in...bas phir success mil jaayega!" Mama do preach Yesteryear actress Vyjayantimala is going through one heck of a struggle. No, it isn't because she wants to make a comeback. She is trying to get her son, Pravin, a decent break in Bollywood. Film-makers in Bombay speak of her trips from Madras to introduce her son around. Her efforts didn't go in vain as Pravin bagged a Hindi film opposite Shrabani Mukherjee (of Border fame). His first Tamil film, with Sonali Bendre, is said to be a hit. Its producers plan to dub the film for an all India release. For the time being, it appears, mommy dearest needn't worry. A match made in heaven Aditya Chopra has found a soul mate in interior designer Payal Malhotra. After all, they share a passion for the movies. They would watch films in cinema halls and spend hours gauging the public reaction. Their mutual passion reached its logical conclusion when they were married in a quiet ceremony at his Juhu home recently. It was a private affair attended only by close friends and members of the family. Before news could leak out, the couple flew out on a long honeymoon, and intend to return only after the hungama dies down. This leaves papa Yash and mama Pam with little choice but to entertain friends and well-wishers dropping by to congratulate the new couple. |
