No-trust motion devalued: Yerran Naidu

The Congress' decision to table the no-confidence motion against the government was "politically motivated", Telugu Desam Party leader Yerran Naidu said in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.

"The entire country is wondering what was the need to bring forward the motion," he said.

There was neither clarity nor purpose behind the decision, he added.

The no-confidence motion is the most potent weapon in Parliament, he said, adding the opposition had devalued it.

"We can't use this brahmastra for such issues."
