Ghatkopar, Vile Parle, Mulund, then Ghatkopar again, and on Monday, the Gateway of India and Zaveri Bazaar.

Is there a pattern in the blasts that are hitting India's financial capital at regular intervals since December 2002?

Could these repeated attempts to disrupt life indicate a ploy to turn Mumbai into a replica of Pakistan's commercial capital Karachi, which has become synonymous with sectarian and terrorist bloodshed?
