Kalam hospitalised for diarrhoea

President A P J Abdul Kalam was on Tuesday evening admitted to the Research and Referral Army hospital in Delhi for treatment of infective diarrhoea.

A Rashtrapati Bhavan spokesman said Kalam's condition is normal but he was nevertheless advised a day's rest in the hospital.
