AP cops take Pravin Togadia
into preventive custody

VHP general secretary Pravin Togadia was on Monday taken into preventive custody while he was on his way to Anantapur to address a public meeting, DIG (Anantapur range) A V Narayana said.

Togadia was arrested at Penukonda in Anantapur district, the DIG told PTI over phone.

Togadia was to address a public meeting at Anantapur on Monday evening for which police had refused permission.
