Women's Bill will be passed: Vajpayee

Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Wednesday said the Women's Reservation Bill will be passed before the end of the term of the 13th Lok Sabha. He told this to a women's delegation, who are part of the Joint Action Front, that visited him a day after the Bill was stalled in the Lok Sabha. Vajpayee also suggested to the delegation that their Front should consider 'alternative' proposals and meet Lok Sabha Speaker Manohar Joshi for the passage of the Bill.

Sub: Objection on the leaders of the Joint Action Committee
As such the bill is a wonderful start to women taking up important positions But i dont beleive the illeterate men MPs will let in ...

Sub: NO Reservation at all
It is better to have no reservation at all. Instead alternative means should be adopted for women's progress.
