Later, addressing address the National Academy of Legal Studies And Research University, the President said, "During the ten-minute meeting I had with the chief minister, he spoke only about what he needs to do for the state and the people.

"In spite of physical pain his mind is alert and yearning to serve the people.

"I pray for his speedy recovery."

Advani, who came by a special flight from Delhi, also visited the CM at his residence.

"Yesterday, when I called him up from Delhi, I could not speak to him since he was on sedatives. Today, I came to see him and he was able to speak to me perfectly," Advani said.

Earlier, at the Begumpet airport, Advani said, "The problem of this kind, wherever it exists, has to be tackled in two ways. The areas affected by these activities have to be developed rapidly to assure the people that the government is keen on improving their lot. And, those indulging in violence, killings and sabotage have to dealt with sternly."
