Congress says Jogi is not resigning

October 07, 2003 19:40 IST

The Congress on Tuesday night rejected the opposition demand for Chhattisgarh Chief Ajit Jogi's resignation in the wake of the Central Bureau of Investigation filing a charge sheet against him in case of forgery.

Jogi himself, earlier in the day, had described the charge sheet as a political move and ruled out his resignation.
