Centre-Hurriyat talks very good beginning: Musharraf

Pakistan President Gen Pervez Musharraf has termed as 'a very good beginning' the talks between the Centre and the Hurriyat Conference led by Maulana Abbas Ansari.

"We hope that the process of dialogue will continue," Musharraf, who is attending the World Economic Forum meeting in Davos, was quoted as saying by BBC.

On Indo-Pak ties, he said the relationship would progress 'only if we show sincerity and resolve and also, may I say, boldness'. He said the leaders of both countries have to stand up to the group opposing normalisation of ties.
