Pushed out of train, man loses leg

In a tragic incident, a man lost his leg on Friday night after he was allegedly pushed out from a running train by the TTE in Orissa, police said.

The incident occurred when about 50 persons from a village in Jharsuguda district were on their way to Sambalpur by the Rourkela-Sambalpur DMU train in connection with a marriage.

The irate crowd refused to allow the train to move for a while till police intervened and restored calm, police said. Railway police is investigating.

Majority of the TTEs are most corrupt and most indisciplined lot.
