As they say, truth is stranger than fiction.

When we decided to run a series on cybercafes around the country, we wanted to peek into India's online habits. After all, 60 per cent of the country's Netizens still log on from Internet parlours.

And when we decided to ask you, dear reader, to send in your cybercafe story, we wanted to know your experiences.

We are grateful we did. Because at the Rediff Messageboard, entries from rediff readers could outdo any gripping nonfiction thriller. There are raging debates on whether cybercafe 'cabins' are licences to get dirty, there are heartfelt truths and jokes from cybercafe owners -- from even as far as Bagdogra near Darjeeling -- there are tales of real romances that blossomed in the virtual world, there is a poem on Blogging and Slogging.

And, there is even a post from a man who claims he busted a terrorist in Pakistan, thanks to a cybercafe!
