Businessman abducted in MP

The dreaded Rambabu Gadariya gang has abducted a businessman and two of his employees from Manikheda forest area, around 40 km from Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh, police said on Monday.

Mahendra Goyal, a contractor, had gone to inspect some construction work at Manikheda Dam site on Sunday evening along with his employees in a jeep when they were taken hostage, Superintendent of Police Akheto Sema said.

The gang has demanded a ransom of Rs 1 crore.

Goyal owns a construction company and also runs several other businesses in the state.
