Lok Sabha resumed on Tuesday evening after bribery allegations, levelled by Bharatiya Janata Party Members of Parliament against the Samajwadi Party, forced the Speaker to adjourn the House.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh [Images] will reply to the confidence debate and the trust vote will be held soon after that.

The Bharatiya Janata Party has demanded the resignation of Dr Singh over allegations raised by three saffron party MPs that they were offered money for abstaining from voting.

Further details are awaited.
