Twin blasts rock Rawalpindi

Two massive explosions rocked the cantonment area of the Pakistani garrison city of Rawalpindi on Monday. There were no details of casualties.

The blasts were so powerful that they were heard in the nearby capital of Islamabad.

Aaj TV channel reported that the blasts had caused extensive damage to a building housing an office of the Income Tax Department. Several ambulances were seen rushing to the scene of the blasts.
