India score over France

India edged out France 5-3 in the Akhbar El-Youm invitational men's hockey tournament in Cairo, Egypt, on Tuesday.

India play Poland later today and take on hosts Egypt on Friday, a statement from the Indian Hockey Federation said.

This was India's third victory in the tournament. Earlier, they had beaten Scotland 3-1 and drew with Pakistan 1-1 before crushing Greece 10-0.
