Why rest the best

The Indian Hockey Federation has chosen to rest most of its leading players and included several juniors in the squad for the Azlan Shah hockey tournament.

Keeping in mind the Olympic qualifier in March, shouldn't India have sent their best men to try out new permutations at the Kuala Lumpur tournament?

This is not the tournament for testing the young players. This tournament is almost like world cup with the top teams playing loosing against them ...
