Indian tennis stars Leander Paes [Images] and Mahesh Bhuapthi have been placed in Gold and Red groups respectively for the prestigious season-ending US $4,450,000 Tennis Masters Cup, in Shanghai.
Paes and his Czech partner Lukas Dlouhy are seeded sixth in the Gold Group along with three other teams.
Bhupathi and his Bahamian partner Mark Knowles are seeded third and find themselves with the top seeded pair of Mike and Bob Bryan.
The top two teams from each group will make the semi-finals.
Both Paes and Bhupathi are yet to add the Masters Cup to the many titles they picked in their respective careers.
