Hyderabad middle order batsman A T Rayudu will lead the 14-member Indian team in the four-nation Videocon Asian Under-19 limited-overs tournament in Pakistan, from October 31 to November 6.
Tamil Nadu wicket-keeper-batsman Dinesh Kartik will be his deputy.
The junior selection committee, headed by former Test batsman Praveen Amre, picked the team from among 25 probables, who played a couple of selection matches at the Brabourne stadium in Mumbai during the last couple of days.
"This is also for the first time an Indian junior team is touring Pakistan since the Kargil conflict," Board of Control for Cricket in India joint-secretary and junior selection committee convenor, Prof Ratnakar Shetty, said.
Shetty added. Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are the other two teams in the fray.
The team: A T Rayudu (captain), Dinesh Kartik (vice-captain), Robin Uthappa, Shivkant Shukla, Avinash Yadav, Suresh Raina, Piyush Chawla, Sahil Kukreja of Mumbai, Sunny Singh, Vikram Veer Singh, Rakesh Solanki, Irfan Pathan, Raiphi Gomez and Saurav Sarkar.

Oct 31: Pakistan vs Bangladesh, at Karachi Gymkhana Grounds; Sri Lanka vs India, at Karachi National Stadium.
Nov 1: Rest day.
Nov 2: Pakistan vs India, at Karachi National Stadium; Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka, at Karachi Gymkhana Grounds.
Nov 3: Rest day.
Nov 4: India vs Bangladesh, at Karachi National Stadium; Sri Lanka vs Pakistan, at Karachi Gymkhana Grounds.
Nov 5: Rest day.
Nov 6: Final, at Karachi National Stadium.
