Laxman, Kumble dropped for Bangladesh ODIs

V V S Laxman and Anil Kumble were dropped from the Indian one-day squad for the tour of Bangladesh beginning later this month.

The national selectors named uncapped Haryana seamer Joginder Sharma and Bihar wicketkeeper Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the 15-member squad announced at Kolkata on Thursday.

India will play three one-day internationals on December 23, 26 and 27 during the 22-day tour which will also include two Test matches.

Squad: Sourav Ganguly (captain), Rahul Dravid (vice-captain), Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Mohammad Kaif, Harbhajan Singh, Irfan Pathan, Ajit Agarkar, Zaheer Khan, Murali Kartik, Dinesh Mongia, Sridharan Sriram, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Joginder Sharma.
